Azzurri Communications recognised as one of the fastest growing technology companies in the UK & Ireland

Azzurri Communications ranked 49 in the 2006 Deloitte Technology Fast 50

Newbury, UK, 27th November 2006: Leading converged business voice and data company Azzurri Communications today announced that it has been placed in the 2006 Deloitte Technology Fast 50, a ranking of the fastest growing technology companies in the UK & Ireland. Rankings are based on average percentage revenue growth over five years.

"Our placement in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 follows a great year for Azzurri and we are delighted to have the endorsement of an internationally respected company such as Deloitte," comments Martin St Quinton, CEO, Azzurri Communications.

"Making the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 is a testament to a company's commitment to technology," said Simon Kerton-Johnson, Chairman of Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 ranking. "With its excellent growth rate over five years, Azzurri Communications has proven that its leadership has the vision and determination to grow in difficult conditions."

Formed in June 2000, Azzurri Communications is one of the largest converged voice, data, and managed service companies in the UK. Since 2000, it has made 16 acquisitions including DVH Group, MiTech Group and Sirocom, in October this year. Azzurri itself was acquired by PPM Capital, the private equity arm of Prudential plc, for a cash consideration of £182.5 million in June this year.

The Fast 50 list is compiled from Deloitte's nominations submitted directly to the Fast 50, and public company database research. To qualify for the Fast 50, entrants must have had 2001 operating revenues of a least 50,000 Euros. Deloitte researchers examined financial statements to validate operating revenues.

Vistorm provides vital security support to Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust

Vistorm's project management and consultancy assists with deployment across 130 sites

Oxford, UK, 27th November 2006: Managed security services provider and information assurance specialist Vistorm today announced an ongoing technical project management, consultancy and support contract with Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. Through working with Vistorm, the Trust's remote and nomadic workers will now benefit from improved speed, security and performance when accessing the hospital's services to retrieve vital information, due to the implementation of a new Citrix Client Access Gateway and Advanced Access Server solution.

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust was formed in April 2001 and is one of Europe's largest mental health and learning disability Trusts. The Trust manages services from community settings through acute wards and low, medium and high secure units, including Wathwood Hospital in Rotherham, Arnold Lodge in Leicester and Rampton Hospital near Retford. The Trust employs 6,500 staff and has more than 130 remote WAN connected sites.

Steve Wilkes, systems manager with Nottinghamshire Healthcare, explained: "We already had a well utilised Citrix Farm to deliver applications to our remote users but when we merged we recognised that we needed a more flexible support arrangement as the ratio of users to IT staff was greatly increased."

After researching the market, the Trust selected Vistorm to provide support and implementation of further Citrix solutions.

Wilkes continued: "Vistorm were friendly, adaptable, and took time to understand our issues and were able to provide solutions at a realistic price. The Citrix solution in effect gives staff 'long fingers'. They can work as if they are in the server room itself, rather than miles away. Speed of access is increased and so is performance."

The secure access solution means that service users will benefit in the long run. For example staff will be able to access, and importantly update patient records at the time of their appointments rather than waiting until the end of the day or week before "catching up with their paperwork", which ensures that patient cases will be dealt with more speedily and efficiently.

Wilkes continued: "Vistorm's technical knowledge and support continues to be a real gain, as it helps to relieve the pain of implementing new solutions with a small team. We have a great working relationship with Vistorm they are our single point of contact for supporting many of our solutions, which makes life much simpler. The world of IT is complex enough so reducing complication is a real benefit."

Darron Antill, general manager, Vistorm said: "Remote workers now make up a significant proportion of the public sector workforce and in order to make this a viable working practice, applications need to be secure and accessed simply from a wide range of locations. Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is a great example of a Trust using technology to benefit everyone, not only users but patients too."

Vistorm have also partnered with the Trust in the implementation of a PC client management application, email and web filtering products, recommending a range of product vendors to the Trust.

Vistorm believes that a clear information assurance strategy is fundamental. It encourages businesses to have an overview of their people, processes, technology and compliance. This strategic, top-down approach will enable them to identify actions that will reduce risk across the business. Vistorm can assess a company's Information Assurance challenges, and recommend the best strategy to enable it to exploit and defend its information capital in the optimum way.

Vistorm launches visual approach to risk management

Oxford, UK, 22nd November 2006: Managed security services provider and Information Assurance specialist Vistorm today launched its Executive Dashboard, giving CXOs a visual approach to risk management. The Executive Dashboard arms businesses with an accurate understanding of the risks they face, enabling organisations to continue to operate safely and successfully.

Vistorm can assess a company's Information Assurance challenges, and recommend the best strategy to enable it to exploit and defend its information capital in the optimum way. With IT security continuing to top the CXO agenda this assessment, or appraisal, promotes a strategic, business-oriented approach to safeguarding an organisation's information assets in a holistic fashion.

The appraisal of people, processes, compliance and technology produces an Executive Dashboard giving executives a snapshot of their organisation's Information Assurance status. Using the results, organisations can then identify what actions they need to take to reduce the risk of misuse, or unauthorised access and disclosure of, commercially sensitive information.

Bob Tarzey, service director at analyst firm Quocirca, said: "Nowadays, risk management needs to be an integral part of enterprise IT security. To be effective, this has got to encompass compliance and governance as well as recognising conventional IT security threats. The sad truth, though, is that too many companies don't assess the overall risks to their assets and face greater business continuity risks than necessary."

Dan Turner, general manager, Vistorm commented: "Businesses operate under a relentless security threat, and its hard to keep track of all the risks faced across an organisation. The larger and more complex a business, the bigger the challenge. Our Information Assurance appraisal uses in-house expertise to answer key questions affecting large organisations on external threats, corporate governance and compliance. "And with our Executive Dashboard, executives can quickly see where dangers lie and how severe they are. Priorities are easy to spot."

The audit's objectives are simple:

* To assess the level of exposure of current procedural and security controls around commercially sensitive information.
* To assess the level of this exposure from internal compromise.
* To assess the awareness and training procedures of employees who access the information.
* To measure the degree of compliance with good practice.

Vistorm makes vital contribution to global Internet security

Vistorm is accredited for its contribution to the SANS 2006 Top 20 update

Warrington, UK, 21st November 2006: Managing security services provider and Information Assurance specialist Vistorm today announced its involvement in the 2006 update of the SANS Top 20 Internet Security Vulnerabilities, this year called the Top 20 Attack Targets.

The updated list was released last week under the auspices of the NISCC (national critical infrastructure co-ordination team). Vistorm is accredited for contributions from technical architects, Dr Rhodri Davies and Rob Baskerville, confirming Vistorm's depth and breadth of experience in IT security and Information Assurance.

The SANS (SysAdmin, Audit, Network, Security) Institute was established in 1989, and is the most trusted and largest source for information security training and certification in the world. Its programmes reach more than 165,000 security professionals around the world.

The SANS Top 20 Internet Security Vulnerabilities highlights the most significant threats that an organisation faces, and illustrates the weaknesses that are currently being exploited to extract sensitive and valuable information and to extort money. The update comes during an increase in computer crime and also highlights vulnerabilities being used to penetrate British, US and Canadian military, government and contractor sites.

Darron Antill, general manager, sales and marketing, Vistorm commented: "It is a great privilege to have been able to contribute to the SANS 2006 update to the top 20 Internet Security Vulnerabilities and testimony to Vistorm's positioning as a leading security specialist."

Redstone constructs a future-focused network for RIBA Enterprises

Comms infrastructure improves communications links between sites

Date - 20 November 2006 - Redstone Plc, a leading provider of IT and communications solutions, has successfully delivered a substantial contract to provide RIBA Enterprises, suppliers of services and solutions to construction industry professionals, with a new data and telephony infrastructure across seven of its UK sites.

RIBA Enterprises took the decision to review its telecommunications, Wide Area Network (WAN) and external network infrastructure as the company required a modern, future-focused ICT environment that would meet both its business objectives and customer demand for the next five years.

Three divisions of Redstone plc - Redstone Converged Solutions, Redstone Telecom and Redstone Managed Solutions - successfully bid for the project and worked together to deliver a fully integrated data and telephony solution, which was rolled out to around 250 employees in total.

Benefits of the deployment that have already been completed include reduced telecommunications costs, improved resilience, simplified management and easier maintenance of the system. The changes not only help staff improve the quality of service that they deliver to customers but, equally as importantly, they allow the company to operate as an integrated entity, something that it has been working towards for several years.

"We decided to award the tender to Redstone as they were able to offer a complete solution to all our ICT demands. They took the time to understand our business as well as our organisation and requirements. The solution Redstone has provided allows mobile, home and office based staff to work together for the first time as an integrated organisation. We are now more capable of meeting the growing needs of our customers over the next five years," said Prof Stephen Lockley, Research and Development Director, RIBA Enterprises.

Martin Balaam, Chief Executive of Redstone, said: "We are delighted to be working with RIBA Enterprises. Our service excellence and extensive experience in the provision and deployment of end-to-end telephony and networking solutions has allowed Redstone to provide the organisation with a communications infrastructure that fits both its immediate and future requirements."

Redstone has deployed a seven site QoS-enabled Wide Area Network (WAN) that includes an Avaya CM3 S8500 solution at three sites and an Avaya CM3 G250 solution at four sites. The deployment also includes voicemail for all users, Call Management System (CMS), a Tiger Call Logger, Internet access across all seven sites, a Managed Firewall and a number of DSL and ISDN2 circuits at other locations.

Vistorm launches new Channel Programme

Vistorm makes Managed Services and Professional Services affordable for SME resellers

Oxford, UK, 14 November 2006: Managed security services provider and Information Assurance specialist Vistorm today announced the launch of its new Channel Business Partner Programme, aimed at making specialist security services available and affordable to small and medium services providers. As Information Assurance becomes a critical issue at board level, the programme will enable partners to engage with higher, board level contacts within organisations through the provision of IA-focused services packages.

Partners will have the opportunity to provide Vistorm's Managed Services, as well as its Professional Services & Consultancy offerings. This move reflects a growing trend in the market towards Unified Threat Management (UTM) and Outsourced Managed Services. Vistorm hopes to work with forward thinking organisations looking to capitalise on this.

Recently appointed head of channel business at Vistorm, David Spreadbury, said: "The launch of our Channel Business Partner Programme is part of our main Services Expansion Plan, to grow our services offering via new routes to market. We are looking for organisations focused on developing their services portfolios, to take advantage of the skills, resources and infrastructure available to them through working with Vistorm. These new security services will be a significant proposition to their customers. These focused companies will act as our engine room, driving the creation of new business opportunities in a number of industry sectors."

Spreadbury explained that Vistorm is looking for a select group of focused partners - SMEs with a variety of backgrounds - to sell these security services either as Vistorm- or own-branded offerings. "Over the last 15 years we have invested heavily in our Managed Security Service infrastructure, with a Security Operations Centre in Warrington, manned 24/7, 365 days a year. Our infrastructure is fully developed, therefore our new partners will benefit by being able to sell our services without making the necessary investment. We will be able to add several new strings to their bow with a full security services portfolio."

The same benefits are available for the Professional & Consulting Services portfolio. Vistorm has created 15 new packages in the professional services space, focusing on various different competencies. These will initially be sold exclusively through the new partners, and again, the value-add for the partners will be access to the highly qualified consultants and technicians in this division.

Spreadbury joined Vistorm in July, from a consultancy role in Government for BT. Prior to that, he worked for Integralis, building its channel business in Europe.

"Vistorm's Managed Services division has more than 600 clients running over 800 devices in 64 countries, from managed firewalls, managed email, managed infrastructure to managed intrusion detection services. The Professional Services Practices create and deliver secure and scalable solutions for clients, as well as working on strategic security architectures and business issues, particularly Information Assurance. We want quality, driven and focused partners to join us in building on these successful offerings."

Redstone Managed Solutions offers redvault cost effective, online data back-up solution

Online back-up solution offers alternative to tape-based backup

London, UK, 13th November 2006 - Internet and IT services provider, Redstone Managed Solutions, an operating division of Redstone plc, has today launched an online data back-up solution as an alternative to traditional tape-based back-up. The fully automated service, redvault, provides disk-to-disk data back-up over standard Internet connections for servers, desktop PCs and laptops.

The flexibility of redvault enables back-up requirements to change with a company's needs without the capital investment and manpower overheads of traditional tape back-up systems.

"We already have a number of customers using redvault with great success," said Tariq Saied, managing director, Redstone Managed Solutions.

"Security, protection, integrity and availability of business critical data are vitally important issues for all IT departments. Not only does redvault offer organisations confidence in their business continuity strategy by enabling reliable data back-ups and restoration, but it is also a more cost effective solution than traditional tape back-up."

redvault offers high levels of security with full encryption, and stores the data on remote mirrored storage platforms at two separate locations for increased resilience. Restoration of data is 'on demand' and is provided using a simple user interface.

Other benefits of redvault include:
· Users can select the files they want to protect and redvault schedules when back-ups should take place
· Redstone Managed Solutions provides full support to customers' own IT and helpdesk facilities
· Easy deployment via website or email using simple 'wizard' application
· No need for expensive offsite tape storage
