Understanding K.K. Brings ProClarity Analytic Power
Partnership Introduces ProClarity-based Business Intelligence to Japanese Organisations --

January 27, 2005 – ProClarity Corporation, a leading provider of analytic application technology for the enterprise, today announced a partnership with Understanding K.K. that will make the ProClarity Analytics Platform available to the Japanese market.

“We are very excited to be introducing the award-winning analytic capabilities of ProClarity to Japanese businesses,” said Satoshi Nakamura, CEO for Understanding K.K. “The combination of Microsoft SQL Server and ProClarity 6 provides one of the most robust business intelligence solutions available, and we are confident that it will play a major role in the Japanese business intelligence market.”

According to the partnership, Understanding K.K. will serve as the primary distributor of ProClarity 6 in Japan. The company specialises in technology consulting and frequently collaborates with other business partners such as Business Brain K.K., Nippon Office Systems K.K. and others to support the implementation and service of business intelligence solutions for Japanese organisations.

Announced in September of 2004, ProClarity 6 builds upon the award-winning analytic applications of the ProClarity platform by adding enhanced, patented (and patent pending) navigation and visualisation features, in addition to providing real-time analytic capabilities that are specifically designed to speed the delivery of business information and the decision-making process. ProClarity 6 provides organisations with a comprehensive vision of historical performance data, as well as insight into how their business is currently operating. These capabilities enable more effective planning and faster, fact–based decision making for future business success.
“Japan’s strong economy presents a very prosperous market for business intelligence applications,” said Jean Vangramberen, Director of International Sales and Marketing for ProClarity. “We are excited to have Understanding K.K. facilitate the introduction of ProClarity 6 to the Japanese market and provide local organisations with a valuable tool for their future success.”
